Pls Advise, Going to india, I-485 ND:10/99, PD:09/96, NO FP

Hi Guys,

PD:09/96, EB3 India, ND:10/99 No FingerPrint, No RFE, nothing yet.

I have to goto india for 5 weeks from Feb to Mar.
Where do I apply for Advance Parole - INS Vermont or Local INS Office ?
Which is advisable and faster ?

I am worried that since i have not recd any FP notice or RFE for my I-485, what will be options if i recv the FP notice while i am away from USA or if the date for FP is during my away period.

1. How may days does INS give for fingerprinting to be completed ?
   What happens if we miss that date?

2. If there is any RFE how may days does INS provide for replying. What
   happens if during that period we are away ?

Normally, RFE will ask you to provide info soon. But dead-line will be something like 3 months after RFE. Thats what I got in my EAD RFE. Finger printing notice also has atleast 6 months.

Where do you suggest i get the Advanced Parole done ? In Newark NJ
or Vermont ? My lawyer suggests Vermont but it takes 60 days there

Also do i need an EAD card while travelling. I have just applied
for extension of my EAD
