PLS ADVICE ABOUT h1/ead/AP

My I-485 is pending and my H1's six years will be up by July-2004.
I will apply for 7th year extention pretty soon.

***1***My question is that after applying the H1, lets say if I wana go to overseas while the application is pending Can I use my current H1 that is valid till July-2004

****2*****Another question is that Can I use AP while H1 application is pending

*****3******If some body is maintaining H1 and use AP to enter the country will that have any effect on H1, Should I have to than work on EAD or can I still maintain H1.......Thanks

----- if you have valid H1Visa stamp and have NOT used EAD you can come back on H1 before July 2004 and you will get I-94 till validity of H1 Visa but if you get 7th year H1 approval before departure then show passport Visa AND new 7th year H1 approval at POE and you will get new I-94 validity till your 7th year H1. If your 7th year H1 is approved while you are out request your employer/lawyer to mail you. If 7th year H1 is approved while you are in US then you will get new I-94 attached with extension notice

----- YES you can and can also be on H1 status if you still continue working with the employer who filed latest H1

---- One can be on H1 even if used AP, no need to use EAD
