hi there folks
i am new to this ....i and my husband entered the usvi on our b1 visa and got it changed to H1 for himand H4 for me
now we have a letter stating that we have the valid visas here ie h1 and h4 however it is not stamnoed on our passports bcoz of which we cant travel outside the us of a
now i wish to goto st maarten and now i need to have my h4 stamped on my passport
how do i go about doing this
i hear i have to goto barbados embassy to have it stamped , and theni can travel .....but my lawyer says that as i have anindian passport i need to go back to india to have it stmaped
has anyone had it stamped recently ?
anyone has any views on this ?
please any input will be appreciated
 
Since you sound like you are new to all this, it would be helpful to go over some threads in this forum for a while. You will see people are getting their visa stamped in India, Canada, Mexico...which ever place is close and convenient to them they are going there.
Depending on where you decide to go for stamping you have to look at website for that embassay and follow their procedures. It would be kinda difficult for anybody to help you if you cannot decide where to get stamping, thats really up to you.
You can get stamped at any US embassy in the world if you have a valid reason to go there. My lawyer suggested me to get it stamped in home country so I am going there next week. But if you have a strong documented reason to go somewhere else you can surely do it.
