Visa is for entry,; I-94 is for stay. Visas cannot be extended; they must reapply. Caring for a grandchild is not a reason for extending an authorized stay. Babysitting for the baby so that you can return to work is illegal. If you need babysitting, begin looking for a licensed child care provider now and get on the list for your expected delivery date plus 6 weeks; this is the standard maternity leave for US workers. If your employer has supplemental benefits, adjust the start date at child care accordingly.

You are an adult and should be capable of dealing with an infant with only the assistance of the father of your child; many women I know with husbands whose jobs require them to be away for months at a time manage all by themselves. If you are not able to care for an infant, you are irresponsible for becoming pregnant. Your hospital or birthing center will offer classes for first time parents on infant care; take that so that you and not your parents are in charge of your baby's care. There are support groups of new mothers to provide peer support. The thought of caring for an infant may be overwhelming right now, but it really isn't that difficult; if you cannot deal with an infant, you won't survive a teenager. As long as the baby is loved, feed and kept clean everything is great.

Validity of visa is independent of how long a stay may be authorized. They can use the visa on its last day and still be granted a six month stay.

i want them to stay here after my delivery.
