I have seen H-1B holders that make as low as 45 - 50k.

Minor legal point... educational evaluation is not just a sum of the years.
LCA must indicate that employer will accept additional years at trade school (means polytechnic) in lieu of deficiency in number of years in 4-year degree. After that, it should be cool.

Salary

Your LCA (Labor condition app) will take care of your pay. Without a minimum pay H1B will not get approved.

For your information minimum wages started as low as $20 per hour.

Do you know, minimum wage for an US Educated/Licensed Dentist in California is $32 per hour, if you go to other states like Kansas it will be $60 per hour.(only minimum wage to get a H1B, max sky is the limit)

So wages differ from state to state. Similary if computer programmer goes to MO state the minimum wage is atlest 30% less than CA for the same position.
