I guess you could fax a letter to them requesting to expedite your case as your FPs will expire in a few months. May be that will trigger an action on your case. Other than that all I can say is patience. Since official times haven't passed your RD, a congressman/senator may not do much for you at this time. I can absolutely understand the frustration. Good luck to you.

May be your name check is pending.
That's what our congressmen's office told me.
Everything is good to go except that my name
check is still pending. Sent several faxes to FBI and several
emails to nncp. No luck yet.

Hoping to get that magic email from USCIS soon

You have to email to FBI then y ouwill get reply..
Faxes will nto work..
I got reply only for my email..
No reply for FAX ...
 
just spoke to Mr. hardy's sec at the fbi they no longer accept faxes but will reply to emails currently they replying to emails rcvd 12 oct 2003 for the name check....wish i had emailed earlier:( as never thought my maiden name Shah would be a prob, but apparently thats the only document tsc is awaiting now

Did you get a reply from the FBI? When did you send the name check status request?
 
The email works. I got a reply from FBI that my name check was completed in January 2003. I got the email a month after I got the approval.

Better late than never. But the email works with FBI

could you tell how long did fbi take to send the reply and the precise date's if available?

Can u please post Hardy's sec's number. I have mailed them on 12th Oct and havent heard from them.
