Please shqre any experiences with TSC IO/ Infopass today(08/01/2007)

I had an infopass basically for my interim EAD. The officer sent an expedite request email to TSC. When I checked with him on my I-485 he said all checks are clear and the case is was assigned to an officer on July 2oth and is being reviewed. He also said everything looks clear, but since the Visa numbers are no available for August, I should wait until September.
I told him that people after me have got approved and he said he does not know why TSC did not take action on earlier cases..
At least I am glad to hear that my name check and security checks are clear.

couple of days ago I called TSC and it went to National costumer service and the lady told me that my name check got cleared 2 weeks ago. today I called TSC and the IO told me that my name check got cleared but I should wait for the visa availibilty which is going to hapen in Octobor! is that correct? I am not from retrogression countries so still I need to have available visa? any comments?!?!

But USCIS will accept applications till Aug 17..
The visa bulletin update on July 17, 2007 implies that EB categories are "Current" till August 17 th. How does this tie in with the "Unavailable" for everyone ?

the fiasco where they said they would not accept applications from July 2. WHen they agreed to, it was July 17 and they agreed to give applicants a month to apply (till Aug 17) - as they would have had all of July had this not happened in the first place.
Aug Visa Bull.... still holds true - the above is just an "override" because it was their fault

Today I called for my I-131 Application . I got nice lady she has given me all information about I485 case.
Q. Is my name check is clear ?
A. Still pending .
When I was asking her she was say let me go to FBI form to see.

A. No idea but department is working on Name Check pending case those case pending for N C long time . You will here within the one month or Two month. They are going do something about name check pending cases.

A. She has given the Name check Submitted date .
