My case is 245(i) LIFE act...
ND: Nov. 11 2002. REF responed 3 months back. 2nd FP done Sept 21 2004, 3rd EAD applied LUD reflected fp result and processing resumed...24 Sept. Then silence...

Can any body immgine / aspect approval time OR Is there any chance of case transfer to local office and /or face an interview ? Is there any of friend under 245(i) LIFE act. applied and started process with LC on or just before March 30, 2001.

Please share your opinion/assumptions etc.
 
Me! See my details. My case has been under total silence, and I was just now able to make an inquiry. I know one other 245(i) case so far and I think he got transferred to local after some past his RFE response (I think). I'll look up his details on this forum.

How come your ND is so late? Did it take long for your I-140 approval?
 
You can find a spreadsheet in this forum where the statistics show the average time from FP2 to AD is ~50 days.

I think it's different with 245(i) case. It's been about 10 months since my FP2, and no approval yet.
 
No, I didn't get a RFE. But my case is just different...not many 245(i) case that I've seen here.

taruwish, in what way are you surprised about me?

It seems like my case is lost, since my last LUD was from April 2002. I couldn't issue an inquiry, and the only thing that I did was update my address involuntary. Back in the summer I did go to local office, and they confirmed that my case is still with NSC. Last week I got results from Dick Durbin's office - which said that my case got moved to a stage where it's waiting to be assigned to an officer. It is estimated to happen within 60 days, but it is not a guarantee that the case will be approved. I'm waiting to hear from them again this week.

I shouln't use surprise word.But what i mean by that i have friend and he has Aug-02 RD with 245i also has rfe in september-04.he hasn't reply yet.
my Rd is March-02 and i get rfe then transferd to local office.now interview is on 11/02/04.
I don't your detail but your Rd is Jan-02.How come no RFE? or Approved
that means they didn't touch your case. When? will it happen soon?
OR Contact congressmen.
 
Yes, no RFE, no transfer to local office, no approval yet! I had my FP2 in Nov 2003, and changed my address in Aug 2004, that's all.

I did contact Senator Durbin's office and they said my case will be assigned to an adjudicator within 60 days. Their letter was not very clear - it kind of implied that my case was Name Check cleared around Sep 20.
