Dear friends,


Please reply to my question about H1b. I was working for Company A and had my visa stamped for company A on my and my wife's Passport.

After that i changed job to Company B and have approved H1B for company B but the passport still has stamped Visa for company A.

My wife is in India and she will be coming back shortly.

My question is as She has Old company's visa stamped in her passport so will there be any problem at the port of entry for her or not.


The old company's Visa is valid till Feb 2005.

Does she need any document for the new company?



Gurus Please advice I am kind of confused about that.

Thanks for reply but..Does she needs the originals 797 for both companies or copies will work too..

Because i need docs with me too...isn't it true?

She would need her originals I guess. My wife has gone to India and though she has a valid stamp I still have asked her to carry her original 797.

Her I-797 should be separate, so let her have her original. She and you both will need originals at the port of entry with old valid visa stamp
