As a public service, please post you experiences about the POE, with the new 30 day rule in place (?). Let me start off...

My cousins parents entered on B1/B2 visa yesterday (04/09/2002) from JFK. They were given 6 months visa. Actually his parents were looking at the dates when the INS officer asked if anything was wrong. They said they wanted to stay for 5 months and were looking at dates, so the officer laughed and told them that he had given them 6 months .....

But today (04/10/2002), looks like the new regulation is in place.....

Again, request to post all experiences ....
 
armourofgod! INS has not implemented 30-day rule yet!!!

Please read the INS press release/fact sheet properly before you raise panic among readers here.....It\'s just a proposal and open for feedback(from anyone) for 30 days....Only after reviewing the feedback they are gonna decide on implementing it.....But the proposal on student visa go in to effect immediatly......
