Hi btech,

Stamping at Newark pretty staight forward. You need following docs

1. Approval notice(I-485) (Courtesy Copy is good enough)
2. Passport with atleast 6 months validity
3. I-94 cards
4. EAD (if you have)
5. Advance Parole (if you have)

Use the side entrance instead of the front entrance as there will not be many people entering from side entrance. At the entrance they will check your ID and approval notice and let you in after security check. They will give you a token mentioning the room number that you need to go. Please proceed to that room.

Once you enter the room, they will take your fincer print / signarture. They will take away your EAD/AP/I-94etc.. After the background check (which takes about 1 hr), they will stamp ur passport.

Do we need to wait outside in the cold ? We have a two year old son to take with us. Do the people normally bring their kids with them ?
