Please add your EAD approvals from Nebraska. By now(07/17/02) Nebraska issuing EAD for the application recieved by 05/28/02. Please share the info with others on latest EAD approvls.

I made a nice spread sheet based on Rupnet data:
I am also attaching Excel Graphs with details
Here are the highlights: The number of applications reached peak at july 2001 and drasticaly declined afterwards. Vermont reached highest appications so far and also very efficient in approving cases. Infact Vermont is delivering EAD s in less than 15 days.( Your tax dollars are utilized well, where as Texas is least efficient and also recieving less applications.)
The latest dates for 485 approvals (Assuming no hurdles, all are RD) Vermont is at 8/27/01, Nebrask at 7/3/01, California at 10/11/01 and Texas is still at 5/9/01.
Comming to EAD times Nebraska at 5/28/02, California at 2/14/02, and Texas at 4/25/02. Vermont is very quick at EADs at delivering in 15 days. Good job Vermont!

Have you noticed your Notice date is just 4 days after your recieved date. Due to current economic conditions, there are lot of layoffs and fewer applications going to INS. And other side Bush administration is commited to move the process to 6 months. Rumour is INS is hiring more people and commited to move quick due to reverse immigration causing lot of pain in the real estate market. Most of the people are not buying homes due to uncertainity. My guess is you may get it in 6 weeks or less from your recieve date. Good luck

You are there might be less number of applications and market is not immproving and due to more layoffs.

EAD approved

My EAD approved on 08/13/02.
Expecting the card.
But my wife case is still pending.
talked to INS yesterday.
This case is with an officer&will be taking decision soon.
My case has gone for background check!!!!!!!!!
it was done during 140 stage.
i dont know why they r doing again?
I asked this question to the officer.she couldnt
give a satisfactory answer.It seems all the cases have to go for this checking,I will be getting
FP notice after this only.It is ok as long as things r fine.
This long meessage for those who r in the same boat.

FP: 08/23 for dependents

AVM says insufficient FP fees for me;

Co. attorney informed that all relevant fees were OK ( as confirmed to them by INS also ) and the notice is on its way shortly.

No favorable signs as yet though ! :confused:
