Hey everyone, Please post any EAD approvals here.

What documents do you need to take when You want to get an interim EAD at the local INS office?
(My RD is JULY 15, 02 ; ND IS JULY 16 02 for the 2nd EAD. )
Appreciate if you can post your experiences with interim EAD.

This is my 2nd EAD. I guess its taking more then 90 days to get it.
May be You will get it in this week.
 
Any EAD approvals with ND around July 15th ?

Any approvals of EAD with ND in July 2002?

Thanks to TSC I had to stand in line for 10 hours in Miami heat and get my EAD ( this is my second EAD) , but finally got the EAD from Miami , still waiting for my AP , had called up TSC and the IIO advised me to go to the local center as she said that it would take about another four weeks before i could get my EAD.

My Wife receipt/Notice dates are:
July 31st 2002 for Both EAD and AP

My Recept/Notice Dates are:
August 6th 2002 for Both EAD and AP

SRC's are 02-235-51xxx

Nothing yet.

Has been more than 55-60 days for AP but nothing.

These are Renewals. 2nd AP and EAD for both of us.

Anybody did Interim EAD in Orlando.

Please Post experience.

If I count the Number of Working days from Date of Receipt/Notice, there are approximately 55 Days. Hence atleast AP must have been done.

I have not plans of Travel but still, this is just absurd.

The Torture these people are giving is just not worth it to be a PR or GC for this country I think at this stage. Really. The double Dip has been predicted. IT life is taking a turn now. Will be a while this will be back. I am just frustrated, thats all. Pardon my words.

This 55-60 days and 80-90 Days for AP and EAD, these are total days from date of receipt OR only Working Calendar Days. I guess thats not clear also. INS wants to leave everything for people for comment/think/Speculate, etc etc etc.

If only I had the power.

nd june 6 2002 for the second EAD
still not approved

what is going on? i called the INS, and the operator said that my file was not even assigned to an officer. what to do?
my last EAD expired on sept. 29 2002.

Hi Agni, what documents did you take to get an interim EAD?
Do you need photographs?
Do you get the plastic card after 4 weeks?

P.S. Kaycekay, I think its better for you to talk to your lawyer and see if you need to get an interim EAD.

I did not have to take any photpgraphs they took a snap in the Miami INS office , you require the orginal 765 receipt , your driver license and passport , i had to stand about 12 hours in the line , Miami being and immigrant heaven but they printed the card in the center and gave it to me right then , so that was the good part.
 
EAD interim

Do you have to pay fees to get a interim EAD,... I would'nt be surprized if they ask MONEY AGAIN,...

No, they don't charge any fees for Interim EAD.

My second EAD RD & NDs are 07/14/02 & 07/15/02 and until now.

Got AP almost a month back and still waiting for 2nd EAD.
