simple question
Gurus,
can anyone give me info.
its for my friend case, his company applied labor RIR/EB2 from NY on sept 2001 and NY state DOL did some filing mistake and his lawyer came to know about this and he is touch with NY DOL people.
lawyer is saying that his case will go to NY Regional DOL for final stage of his labor in 2 weeks

my question is is that NY Regional DOL people guys looks the PD or just take the date at which it receieved at NY Regional office
becoz there was a misket from NY state DOL guys.

please clarify my so that i can tell to my friend

as per my friend, he told me that a new employee in NYDOL made mistake on typing info of his case and he gave a NOF which my friend's attorney didnt get that NOF from NYDOL.
his attorney called NY DOL and got info that its mistake and there is no NOF issued for his case, then his attorney asked NYDOL then why they didnt forwarded his case to USDOL for final stage.

new employee doent know clearly what he has to document it seems, its mistake from their side and NYDOL knows about it, once they forwarded to USDOL, is that USDOL will process his case fast with his PD or just process as of date receieved in Regional?
