I think the May 1 protest makes most of us; the law followers; look so stupid and dumb. People who broke the law can get legalized by some protests, 'cuz they have bigger voice. What do you guys think?

I sense a lot of anger about our march, but this is not the time to argue amongst ourselves about whose struggle is better. Like I told ecuellaro, we must work together to get the government pass a bill that not only gives amnesty to all illegal immigrants but make your wait for greencard shorter. By working together, we can get to the promised land like Dr. King said. Remember, yes we can! (si se puede).

Some people say because of that amnesty thing for illegal aliens
the immigration process for us legal immigrants became slow.

Note that we paid money for our educaion in US and paid huge
amount of taxes.

Frankly speaking, I just do not know much about this bill.
Please enlighten me on how this new bill help us legal immigrants..

I think the reason we came to this country is because we like how the system works. We respect the law. Even if we don't like some of the law, I don't think we should simply break it. We shouldn't even claim we have the right to break the law.

I agree there are problems in the system but those problems don't give us the execuse to break it.

Also to repond to your point. So the country should give you amnesty and only shorten the people who follow the law some waiting time? People who broke the law get amnesty and people who follow the law only gets some shorten waiting time. What kind of business is this?
