Hi,

I am H1B worker and was laid off about a month back. I am getting married in a few days time and will be applying for H4. Will INS question the intention of the marriage as I would be married only for a few days before applying for H4 and deny my H4 application. Please advise

Intent comes into the picture if you promptly divorce after a few weeks.

That would be because she would no longer be the spouse of an H-1 holde. Intnet would have nothing to do with it. You\'re confusing GC processing issues with H-1/H-4 visa issues.
