Let me get to the point here. My wife finished her Masters and applied for OPT in last week of May,2006. We waited and waited for the result and we havent got any reply till October. Finally she went to a local immigration office and they told us that the application has been rejected and they sent a letter. But we never got that letter. I was on OPT at that time which is going to end this February, 2007. Meanwhile i applied for H1B and got approved and i am going to start my H1b from February 1. My wife hasnt applied for F2 visa because i was going to get H1B this Feb. Now we want to apply for H4 for her. Yes, currently she is out of status. Is there any other option for her besides going back to india and apply for H4? I mean, can she apply for her h4 in canada or mexico?
