Here is the situation please help:

My wife green card got approved on OCT 2nd.
Card Mailed on OCT 5th.
Waited till NOV 10th but card was not received.
Had to go India for her sister wedding.
Visited Local INS offce and they suggested to file I-90.
E-Filed I-90 on NOV12 the revisited Local INS office on NOV 15th.
They stamped her passport with 60 day validity (Till JAN 15th 2007)
She went to India on NOV 22nd and still in India.
Received the original Card now.

Now I have 2 questions...

1. Can I mail her card to India so that she can stay there beyond 60 days and come back using the card instead of PP stamping ?

2. What will happen to our I-90 ? Do we need to call INS and cancel it ?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Kishore

Are you sure that the card you received was the one first shipped or the replacement card? I don't think it would take 3 months for the first card to reach you (unless you changed homes in between).

Yes. Its the first shipped. We also recevied the biometric notice for the second one which is scheduled for next month. I called TSC and they told they recevied the card as undeliverable first time and mailed it one more time. (postal mistake)
