Hi Gurus,

(Please find my details in the below signature)
My 140 was approved and right now I am on 7th year H1 whic expires in Jan 2006.
On August 2nd I have attended for Biometrics Code 2.
My EAD and AP about to expire this month.
Is it OK if I renew them now. If so, could you please help in submitting AP and EAD online.
How many months before I can apply for H1 extension (my current 7th yr extn expires on jan 2006). ?

I appreciate your help in this regard.

Hi KB2004,

You can easily file your EAD,AP online. Create an account for e-filing on the USCIS website, go through the applications before you start filing, have all the information handy,start filling the information in the applications online and submit. First select the EAD application once you are done with it you will have an option to pick the AP application you can pay the fee's by visa. Once the fee is paid you will see a receipt that can be downloadable. Call the USCIS with the recipt number for FP appointment and send all the supporting documents with copy of the recipt to the address advised in the receipt.

I have already received and attended Code 2 Biometrics.

1. Do I still need to call and setup an appointment for FP ?

what abt the H1B extension. I am thinking of applying for 3 year extn as my I 140 was approved. and like to apply for H1 extn as soon as possible.

2. could you please tell me how long before the expiration date I can apply for H1B. ?
 
If I was you I wouldn't take any chances, if you're sure that USCIS will extend your H1b to 8th year, then there is no harm in waiting otherwise it would be wise to renew your EAD / AP.
