Hi All,
Can someone send me a template (word document) as well as the FAX number for the TSC, to notify about fingerprint expiry or Request to expedite request.
I am still waiting for my I-485 approval.
Receipt Date : 04/26/2002.
RFE issued: June 21, 2004.
RFE recieved.
WAITING, WAITING...
Fingerprinted on Jan 14, 2004

Finger prints are valid for 18 months, so you are 6 months away from needing to expedite due to expiration.

It sounds as though your approval will come before then if you recently responded to a RFE.
 
Agreed with Father Mike suggestion to send expidite request.

I believe FP is valid upto 14 months

Use TSC expeidation request form, along with letter. best thing use ur attorney to send it on his letterheaad. that would make ur request more strong.

"General Expedite Procedures
A detailed explanation of the situation should be provided in a one-page support letter along with any documentation needed to support the expedite request. Expedited processing can be requested by fax. The fax number is: 214-962-2632"

Why dont u call the 800 no. U can now connect live with a TSC officer . May be that might be a better route .

Go to your congressman, at least you will get to know what is missing, maybe your name check or something else, I am waiting for name check, my FP just expired, so they said I'll get a new FP notice in about 90 days, hopefully is true.

Thanks a lot for your advice.
I responded to the RFE in June21, 2004. It was a simple medical exam documentation.
However, INS sent the wrong SRC number, and my lawyer did not notice.
TI eventually found out in August and sent them another Medical exam in August 21, 2004
Have initiated 2 case status inquiries since then.
Just get a letter with a cursory response saying case is pending.
Also sent faxes and e-mails to FBI to make sure fingerprinting is done.
JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO.

hi anand,

why dont u call the 1-800 no and speak to a REP. Your case is well past he due date and if your RFE response is rcvd and >60 days u can still call them. I read a case in VSC where the petition was approved and approval papers were not sent. Neither were online case status updated. He/she called VSC and were told application was approved long back. So try your luck.
