anyone who got denied citizenship or know anyone who did.
as you read on the other thread, my case got denied. what i would like to know from you please is, how long does it take from the time of denial to the time of the hearing?

also, was the hearing in court or in the ins district office? was the officer the same officer who condocted you initial citizenship interview the first time and denied your case, or was the officer in the haring a new one?

thank you so much.

For denied N-400 applications, you need file N-336 in 30 days after you got the result. it takes 250 bucks.

You will have to wait for the hearing for long time. I heard that it is like 18 months in California. A new officer of USCIS will review your application and give you final result immidiatly. If you dont accept that either, you can go to
appeal in districk court.

Thank you for your reply, however, to have an appeal appointment , it took only 2 months. I have had my hearing on Oct, 25, 2005. And i didn't get the result immediately, they told me i will get the answer in the mail soon.
