Please help! : Visa revalidation

Hi Friends,

I am planning to visit indian this winter and I heard that if you are indian citizen and resident of US, you can apply for visa revalidation in any consulates in India.

Please any one confirm above if you happend to visit for visa revalidation.

Yes you can. I went to kolkata for my visa revalidation instead of chennai consulate in june'06. did not choose emergency. but chose "returning worker to USA". no question asked during the visa interview regarding this

Thansk, skali for your quick response. What were the questions they asked? What documents they asked? Did you get any problems?
