Please help: self-employed on EAD?

My wife used to work on H1B, but want start her own business with EAD. Can she do this? Does she need to apply H4?

What if she works for more than 1 employer ( 1 used her H1B, another on EAD)?

And I guess she can choose not to work although she has EAD, right? So she needs to be on H4? or just pending I-485 (AOS) is fine?

Assuming that you are the primary applicant then your wife's job plays no role in the GC processing. With an EAD she can do whatever work she wants. However, once she has used her EAD any H1 would be invalid, so she would need to revalidate her employment authorization with any employer she is still working for under H1.
