Please Help...Regarding job change after 180 days

I am a frequent reader of this discussion board. After reading several discussions on the 180 day rule I feel one can change the job after 180 days of RD. If any of you have changed their jobs as per the new rule please give your opinion.

Also if I want to change my job do I need to have an EAD card ? What is the kind of proof that one has to show while changing the jobs ? My company didn\'t apply for my EAD since my H1 is valid till 2003.

Same situation with me. I have EAD and I would like to change my job. I have passed 180 days from RD but not from ND. Please let us know whether we can change jobs and is there any state or geographical restriction in changing jobs? I also heard the new job should have same description, qualifications and pay range? how far is this true?AND whether i have to use my EAD?
 
You may need H1

Since you do not have any EAD, you may have to take another H1. If you have EAD, you can make use of it.
