Please Help - regarding H1-B Visa

Hi

I recently recieved my H-1B visa stamp from Madras consulate with a initial expiry of FEB 2002. Since the current situation for Job market in USA is not good, I would like to know the following:

1. Is there a stipulated time period before which I have to travel to USA.
2. I heard I have to travel within 6 months of receiving H1B visa. Is this
   true.
3. I prefer to travel to USA during the month of June or July 2002. Is
   this okay.

1. Generally Yes for a non immigrant visa but for h1 no.
2. For h1 Visas No.
3. How can you travel in June2002 if your visa expires in Feb 2002?
