Please help. Question about AP renewal

I am Vermont 1 year case(485 RD 09-06-01) and not sure how many more month VSC takes to approve my GC.

For me and family, AP expires on 20-NOV-02. I want to visit India in DEC-02.

If I apply now, do I need to wait until I get my AP approval ?
What happens if I leave with out approval and I make some arrangement by mail ?
Is this okay if I leave after getting the receipts ?


I am asking this question because in I-131 form, it is mentioned in red letters that it may damage the 485 application.

Jaxen and others, please help me in this aspect.

U need not wait till receiving the AP approval. And AP need not be overlapping or continuous.
