Please help-Part time volunteer job on H1b

Hi gurus..
Please help me with this urgent question. Is it possible to work part time as a volunteer (pharmacy intern) on academic H1b? I plan to work on weekends to complete my stipulated intern hours. I hope it is legal and doesnot violate my pending EB-1 petition.
Note: I intend to work with private employer as volunteer on my nonprofit H1b.

Illegal in my opinion

In my opinion, working for any employer on H1B (even volunteer work) other than your H1B sponsor is illegal.

This is my understanding from reading related articles at some places. I will not vouch for it though. Hope someone with more experience/knowledge can help answer. Please ask a lawyer.

I think it's illegal unless it is real volunteer work such as picking up the garbage on the street or so. Not being paid is not the same as volunteer work.
All the productive work regardless of profittable or non-profittable must come with work authorization.
