Aight so here's the situation:
I came to the us and a (joke) and got derivative asylee status tru a family member. Last year I've applied for the green card and my case is still pending.
Lately I'd fallen in a state of depression and loneliness that i desperately need to see some friends and family member at least to cheer me up and make me feel like before; maybe is the working habit (getting up at the same time, same route, same thing, etc...) everything seems so predictable now.
I got into my mind about the trip so i began to search about the permissions that i need to travel. I went to a lawyer and he told me to get the advance parole. I did and after 3 monts i've got it. From the start people has been telling me not to travel because it can be dangerous to my status and my case. I live in Miami and i think if i don't travel to see somebody I'm gonna pop at some point!. I'm not going back to the country that i got the asylum status from btw.
Please somebody give me some advice; maybe an experience from someone who already did it...
Thanks
