If you don't have a job, you are not required to file Federal US taxes unless you have investments (interest from your savings account, stocks, real estate, etc.) that are earning you thousands of dollars per year. However, for state taxes there may be a lower threshold.

thank you for your reply.i have a bank acount but only 1000$!! my aunt support me and dont have job.i only study medicine to be a dcotor in the future.

OK, so you would have interest of $30 or less, which would definitely be too small to have to file a Federal return. But for the state return, I don't know ... Some states have no income tax so for them you don't have to file at all. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_income_tax. If your state is not one of those, Google for "YourState income tax" to find out the rules of your state. I doubt there are any that would require you to file for income of $30 or less, but check it out.

Are you saying that since you got your green card you have been living in your home country and going to medical school there? For how long? what ties have you maintained with the U.S? Did you receive legal advice before doing this?

As an aside, are you sure you can take the board exams with a foreign medical degree?

Good question. Continuing medical studies outside the US might be a waste of time, because the US will likely require you to redo a bunch of stuff at a US school if you want to practice medicine in the US. Find out the details of what the rules are for your specialty and qualifications.
