yes, they are differences, but we are all the same in the end. and i don't think ...

I hope not. I don't want to be in the same boat with illegals, who crossed the boarder with criminal intent, picked up some random identity stolen from a law abiding hard working individual who's life is probably screwed up because of this identity theft.

The initial poster came here, posted the exact same question twice and never had the integrity to come back and answer the questions some of us had to get more information for this case. That's chicken shit. And that's the only thing this board is not for.

As far as I'm concerned, I believe in the concept of Freedom of Speech, which makes me think, you're entitled to express your opinion. You, on the other hand, don't want to hear other peoples opinion unless they support yours. Don't you think the US of A is the wrong place for the likes of you ?

no. not really. this isn't nazi germany. but my point still holds true. then let's do this:

Family Based Green Cards - Through Marriage or a Relative for those who were never illegal

Family Based Green Cards - Through Marriage or a Relative for those who were illegal

let's have two forums. the woman came here out of desperation. she shouldn't deal with some kinds of postings.

and rex, good thing you are German. what many people don't understand that once they are done with illegals, they will go after legals. unless people are from germany, tancredo wants zero with you. don't you understand that when you go to see every illegal put on a train and you wave an american flag and sing "god bless america" and you eat hot dogs and apple pie that the next set of trains will be for you?

face it, you are on the same boat. like it or not. and both have to do the same i-485 and go to the same buidling. and one day both will be citizens and count the same on election day.

funny. for people who say they respect the law, you are very angry if the law says these illegals could apply. if the illegals can apply and get benefits, you should respect that. if the law says the fraud will hurt them, it will hurt them. if it won't, it won't. and that is the law. you have to respect it. yes they broke the law, but the law now says they can apply. and if they can, you have to respect that and stop calling them names left and right.

let's face it, some legal immigrants do things that ought to deport them. so don't act soo high and holy.

so do we do two forums?

ignorant illegal inquisitor Belt Up and go Muck about somewhere else where someone will actually care what your spewing arse has to say.

This is just propaganda spreaded by illegals to convince the legal immigrants to be on their side and to put pressure on the American people to give to the illegals what they demand...same old sneaky manipulation which says that anti-illegals are in fact anti-immigration.

About two forums...seems a good idea, why don't you start a new one for the illegals?

P.S. America and American should be with capital letters...but it requires a little bit of love and respect for this country and its people...which illegals don't have...

Again the ignorant ninny is put in his place, well put.

Appearantly you don't get it. Let's not talk about me being German and all that crap you came up with. Let's talk about current USAmerican law of which you obviously have no idea.

To get it straight, once and for all, this is what you can find:

Please note: If a person came into the U.S. illegally, that person is barred from adjusting their status to LPR (cannot obtain a green card) even if he or she marries a U.S. citizen or otherwise becomes an immediate relative. An immediate relative must meet the eligibility requirement of being “inspected and admitted or paroled into the United States.”
when you look here http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/howdoi/lpreligibility.htm

I suggest you and others read the official statements first before you start your own forum for illegals. Good luck.

to TheInquisitor:
I agree with the point that most of US citizens are children, grandchildren...
of legal immigrants as well as illlegal immigrants. However, your opinion is based only on feelings. Yes some illegal immigrants were brought here at very young age, yes some ran away from horrible gov's and so on...
It is immposible to create a separate case for everyone. That is why there is a law, an attempt to put everyone's case under the same bar. Not the perfect way, but the best way possible. You can debate for hours of how this gov is horrible and not efficient, but there so many economic point of view you are missing. Loosening immigration laws will trigger even more immigration, considering that illegal immigration is a whole bussines for some people. Like when you play chess you have to look at a big picture and think at least 5-6 steps ahead in order to plan successful development of this country in the future. Impulse decisions will lead to nothing but collapse.

i truly hope this is not an illustration of the sort of husband you really are. and i pray you won't be like this as a father. we don't need another generation like you. and again, please leave.

back to those that really have a brain. obviosuly, people aren't going to tell immigration they used false documents. but immigration tends to find out anyway. usually what happens? any personal experience? has anyone been deported just on that? and how should future individuals deal with this as they put in for adjustment? at the interview, they must confess if immigration asks them. QUOTE]

What I find particularly curious are all these "what if" questions that are asked out of "curiosity". I wonder if there is more to you than the facts you gave --- perhaps you have some of these problems you "pose" for the group to consider, just as a "matter of interest".

It seems, IMO, to be a case of "I have a friend who has been arrested for....what should I(uhm I mean he) do?"

If this is the case, I sincerely hope you have good legal assistance --- from your posts here it does not appear as if you could even handle your own case if it were of the cookie-cutter variety...

Michelle-
I understand your situation and it is Not easy to raise 7 kids alone or even with a complete family, The INS has other issues to deal with such as ILLEGAL immigrants working under fraudulent names, INS is supposed to take care of support those who brweak the law by entering USA illegally, Your situation needs the consultation of an Immigration attorney.

Your husband ENTERED ILLEGALLY, He will have to GO back where he came from before he can even apply for proper Visa and AOS, if you are USC you can petition him ONCE he returns to his home country.

The fact that he is or has worked under a different name Does Not prove he is of good moral Character, It only Proves FRAUD, And is a criminal offense.
We are not mad at you , we are a bit frusterated that you keep asking the same avice under different threads and the bottom line is
1) YOU NEED AN ATTORNEY
2) Your Husband no matter how good a man he is to you or your children, did ENTER USA ILLEGALLY, His first Act on USA soil was that of Criminal Defiance!
Then He obtained work ILLEGALLY , under a different name -in a sense he is Stealing form the public (how he got this different name or alternate ID is still a question we all are curious about) These things alone are grounds for immediate denial of any USCIS benefits and deportation orders!
He Should lose his present Job. He does not have the legal right to work under fraudulent name while being in USA ILLEGALLY. My Wife can't work, she entered legally & we have to make sacrifices on 1 income. He is lucky to be here & able to find work when a lot of legal immigrants have waited MONTHS & years to obtain employment, health benefits, or even waiting years to be with their spouse awaiting visa because they are doing things the legal way, so count your blessing dear!

There is nothing we can do or any other advice this forum can give you , that we haven't told you. GO TO AN ATTORNEY we are NOT Legal Council , we are Not attorneys, we do not work for USCIS, or any Law firm.

Please seek the advice of an immigration attorney
