Dear friends,

My situtation is :

EB-3
PD:11/6/2003

I-485 filing date: 4/27/2004

I-140 filed at the same time as I-485, and got approved.

Does my I-485 affected by Cut-Off date?

Some lawyers said that It does not affect the I-485 approval. Is that true?

Please help me to clarify.

INS may not approve your 485, untill the visa cutoff date is crosses your PD. Just sit tight and watch every month visa bulliton.

Presently no EB3 is not gonna approved since no visa numbers
available worlwide. Septembers Visa bullettun says-->

The new quota will be released for the year 2006 on OCT1 onwards. DOS suggests that, for India , china and phlilippines there would be a cut off date.
If your PD is older than cut off date you should be okay if you are from one of those countries. For rest of the world there will be visa numbers from
OCT 1 2005 onwards. But DOS warns that sooner or later they havet to issue cut off date for the rest of the counries too.....
