hi all

please can u answer those couple of questions:

1- does a spouse of US citizin submit to the priority date or considered directly as current?
2- after the case will be completed how long does it take to be transferred to a consulate ?

why no one answers my threads ???!!!

Your first question was answered in your previous thread.

1. No, PD does not apply to spouses of US citizens.
2. It varies from consulate to consulate. So if you would actually tell us where your are from instead of complaning then we may be able to help you.

If your consulate is an NVC appointment processing post (for most of the consulates NVC schedules the appointments) then it will not be transferred to the consulate until the appointment is scheduled. If you are applying in Montreal for example it may take up to 5-6 months before it will be transferred.
Indian consulates (also China, Japan, Pakistan, etc) are still regular processing consulates, so the case will be transferred in 2 weeks or so. But it does not mean an interview will be schedules right after that. It depends on the number of applications still waiting for an interview.

For Beirut NVC schedules the interviews. So it means that your papers will be transferred only when the appointment is already scheduled.
