Can someone please tell me how a couple goes about to appy for GC in USA if their baby was born in USA? My friends are giving birth to their baby in USA and then they will apply for GC/PR. Is it possible to apply for a GC when the baby is under 12 months of age? Your help will be appreciated.

Based on giving birth to a baby in the US, is not possible for the parents to apply for permanent residence.
 
Them having their baby born in the US gives them no permanent residence benefit, at least not until he/she is 21.

Only when he/she's 21 he/she can apply for them.
