In my passport place of birth is as" vijayawada" .but in my birth certificate place of birth is as "Rayanapadu, vijayawada rural, krishna distruct, andhra pradesh" .will it cause a problem for filing I-485?

and my birth certificate is issued by TAHASILDAAR(is it accepeted by USCIS).and in BC "vijayawada rural" makes a problem?

I don't see why it would be a problem - the same name is used in both. I would think most birth certificates list a bunch of places, from the small area up to the larger state/province level, and you'd never put all of them in a passport. I asked my attorney in relation to mine and he said it would be fine.

For reference, my passport just gives the city, whereas my birth certificate includes the sub-district, district and the city. Think of it like Upper East Side, Manhattan, New York - you'd never put in a passport or say in general conversation that you were from the Upper East Side, you'd just say New York.
