Hi I find this forum very useful in fact some of the members have very good understanding for eg VijayRC,deng Deng,Manumahi and many others).

What I want to know is that how does BCIS decide about FP date. Now why I am asking this question is that my RD is in May 2002..did my FP in July 2002.My FP was done exactly two months from date of ND.But I see many members having RD in march April but did my FP later than me.In fact some members having RD before me did FP in August

If you go by 15 month validity period of FP then it should be expiring this month. So what will be the course of the process. Is there any chance that they might touch my case(i don't think so but kindly comment)

They might not, but again who knows abt BCIS. Probably you might get a 2nd FP, I'm in the same boat, FP expired last week.

FP is generated in a somewhat different way. From what I understand, FP is genearted by a totally different system (based on A#) and it schedules the FP dates based on the workload at the local centers.

Poor April May guys

Hello
I feel very sad about April May filers.
I think for more than 85% people who filed in April/May
crossed 15 month FP limit.

Does zero tolerance comes into picture here?

Gurus..please Comments please..

Well u got your FP notice early, while others got it later[though their RD are earlier than urs] becoz some local offices are busy, while others aren't and FP's are issued based on their busy schedule..!!

Since u did in July02, ur FP would expire around Sep-Oct03 and if around that time, if the case isn't assigned yet to the officer, FP2 would be generated automatically by the National FPScheduler. If it's assigned, it is upto the discretion of the officer to send out FP2. Worst case scenario is expecting a FP2 in a month or so, and the best would ofcourse, be the approval..!

FP is done based Location where one resides.

Me and two of my collegues (C1 and C2) have same RD,ND and FP1 scheduled dates.

RD - Early Jan-02
ND - Mid Jan-02
FP1 - Sceduled Date Late May-02

Me and C1 filed from VSC

C2 filed from CSC

C1 and C2 did early FP1 (one month early in APR-02)

I did FP1 as per scheduled date.

C1 Approved without FP2 two months back.

Me and C2 waiting. No FP2, No RFE, No Approval.
