1. My H1B expired on end of June this year and applied for extensions for time spent out side the USA(received denial letter just last week). While I was preparing to leave US, I didn\'t want of be out of status more than 180 days to be bar for 3 years, my I-140 got approved on mid October and submitted the I-485 application on this mid November. Question is when my being out of status stops, the day INS receives my I-485 application(RD) or the day they send Notification (ND)?
