Hi All,
I came to US on H1B in 2004. I worked in NJ till July 2005. By the end of July 2005, I moved to Florida. I have submitted my change of address (AR-11) to INS in the mid week of August. But since 1 week of Aug 2005, I have been staying at a address which is different from what I mentioned in AR-11.
My question is when I submit the change of address thru AR-11 form to INS, will INS send any of any its representatioves to check whether Iam staying at that address?
If the INS find out that Iam not staying at that address, is INS going to take any action like denial of my H1B visa extension, deportation, ...etc.
OR
Is INS going to send any postal mail to the address which I mentioned in AR-11 in order to check whether Iam at the address or not? If INS sends any postal mail to the address, do I need to respond to that postal mail?
Please advice.
Thanks,
-Nalini K
