Please Help!! Mailing N-400??

Both me and my wife will be mail our N-400. Can we send it one envelope or I have send it in 2 different envelopes??

As far as I understand, you should send two separate envelopes.

I remember reading a post in this forum where in a similar situation two married people sent their N-400 in a single envelope and only one of the two applications was actually processed.
 
I mailed both my and my wife's application in one envelope.

I used United Postal Service (UPS) with Certified mail + delivery confirmation option. The total cost was around 4 dollars. The documents were received in 2 days by VSC - Maryland to vermont. ( You can also track the documents via UPS online).
 
I see both the cheques were encashed by VSC with online bank of america, which indicates VSC started processing both the applications.

Interesting. It seems to depend on one's luck whether the USCIS buraucrats handling the envelope notice that there are two applications in it.
