Recently my wife got a local interview and her I730 got denied. What we should do now? Very much appreciate your advices!!!

My I 730 was approved 1 year ago so did hers. Then half a year later she got a local interview in China and she is the honest person admitting that she is a memeber of the Communist Party and also she had ever served in the army as a common member and also later became a police officer until retirement. That's all what happened.

After that interview I got the denial information without any reason but saying the service center in US will address us with reasons why the local office can not grant this case. Up to now we have not been contacted by the service center.

Is there anything we can do now before we get contacted?

We appreciate your advices!!

You will have to first find out the reason for the denial. They have to give you a concrete reason or reasons. Otherwise nobody can really answer your question.

excuse me but why do they interview your wife? I think that when an asylee apply the I730 for his/her relatives, they have to receive their visa automatically. What do you if your relatives are in a country where you fear persecutions. Please informations?

My wife was also interviewed for her I730 at the local US embassy....it's normal procedure

Know I don't have any clue about many things in the immigration system. Time to time, I like to read and be aware of what I will do when I want to apply for. So the interview is related to your status or your wife's life. Sorry, I am comfused. Give some clues about this issue

Maybe the fact that your wife was part of communist government..and you are facing persecution from that govt..didn't make sense to the embassy?

There are some thing not normal here.
First, you get your asylum status from a form 730. Who is the original asylee here.
Second, where are you when you get 730 approved?
I think if you are not the original asylee, somebody, who is the original asylee here, can not apply deprived asylee for your wife. So there are something not right here instead of that interview.

I am the original asylee and if I have to apply for my wife. She will be interviewed in a country where I fear persecution. My question is this one: Should the question related to my status or our conjugal life

It is hard to say.
Normally, deprived asylee will have an interview before USCIS approve I730, and if the relationship betweeen you and your wife exist before you got your asylum status, and still strong when the interview happened, there is no problem for your wife to get visa, but that will take USCIS for a while to issue a real visa to your wife.
