Laid Off from CompanyA: October, 2003
H1b expired: October, 2003

1. What is my current status?

2. Currently, I am getting an offer to start a new job on 20th November. What requirements (in below areas) need to be fulfilled for an easy Green Card processing? And How?
a. Salary
b. Job Title
c. Job Description
d. Location
e. New Employer’s Location, State of Filing

2. What is the remaining procedure if everything is as expected? When should I expect my inquiry?

3. I will have gap in employment for a month and half. Will this make any issue in receiving the green card?

4. My wife’s papers( I485 & EAD) were filed with my processing together in May 2002. She got a job a year back using her EAD. Will it affect her status, if I change my job?

Any help will be appreciated

***** You did not mention if your I-140 is approved, IF I-140 is approved and I-485 pending more than 180 days you can use AC21

b. Job Title----- Keep it same
c. Job Description---- keep it same as on past approved LC (get the copy of approved LC from the lawyer or employer who filed LC)
d. Location-------NO Problem
e. New Employer’s Location, State of Filing ------NO problem if using AC21
