Please Help !!! Intent to Deny!!!

Hi Everybody -

I spoke to an IIO some time ago.
She said that there were going to issue me an INTENT TO DENY notice .
She said that i should be receiving this in a about one month.
I asked her whether it was because of any RFE ?
She simply said i should be receiving a INTENT TO DENY notice .

Can someone please tell me what are the probable causes for such kind of notice.
What should i do in such a case ? Should i prepare for the worst ???
I am such much tensed ? any ideas , any suggestions ???

May be it was the category upgrade which you talked about in one of your message. Whatever is the reason please post it here! Wait for the official letter and see the exact reason and then plan for the next action.

One reason that I am aware of is your immigration status in this country. e.g. if INS can not find continuity in your H1-B stay (or any other visa) then this notice is a possibility. This situation normally arises out of missing paper work e.g. if you changed employers and your current employer did not furnish the details about it then this may happen.

Don\'t worry! Hang in there and wait for the actual notice. You can always show cause, if it is for the category upgrade. Talk to your lawyer. You will be fine!!!

Actually the category upgrade was a INS mistake.
I will have to wait for the notice and talk to my lawyer , when he gets the notice.

Did you notify INS about this error? I think Lawyer should have done that.
If this was done then you r ok.

Guys -> It is our responsibility to check and see that everything was correct.
             Lawyers are too busy...
