Did any one get this letter from USCIS?
"The processing of your petition/application has been delayed. We are awaiting futher information from another office to assist us in the final adjudication of this case."Does anyone have any idea what this means?

I140 file date 11/9/02 RFE 3/4/03 Aprove 5/18/03
I485 Receipt date 11/18/02
I485 LUD 6/15/04, 6/16/04, 7/30/04, 11/10/04, 11/11/04.

This is the first time I've heard of this message. I wonder if they've added it to cover situations where the case is waiting for the name check to be completed? That's the only thing I can think of -- FP pending could be handled by the "FP sent" message (and FP doesn't usually stay pending for very long)...

My lud got updated again today and the message got changed again to

"On November 19, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

From

"On November 09, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

LUD got update again today 11/29/04 without any new message.

I got a letter last friday saying "The address change has been applied to your application/petition" Eventhough I didn't change my address. it also state that "On 10/26/04 you, or the designated resresentative shown below, contacted USCIS about your case" I didn't can USCIS on 10/26/04.

Now I am trying to contact USCIS and the new phone options never get me to a live person because it ask you to check the status in order to talk to a live person and my status message says "We are sorry due to a problem with our system we can not find any info about your case please try again later." I don't know what to do?????

After quering about my wife's 485 case on 11/25/2004 she got the same letter from USCIS as I got it states.
"The processing of your petition/application has been delayed. We are awaiting further information from another office to assist us in the funal adjudication of this case. As soon as this information is received, processing will continue on this case."

No one replied to my message that did any one else got the same letter from USCIS after inquiring about their case? or what letter you guys got after inquiring about your case.

Her online message says "On November 12, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."
