Please HELP - I-94 dates mixup

Hi,

I was with Company A starting Oct 2000 and my I-94 expired Aug31st,2003.

I joined company B from Nov 2001 to Nov2002. However, when they filed for the transfer, they made a mistake and the end date is Aug 01,2003! So, the I-94 sent with the approval notice was also dated Aug 01,2003.

I rejoined cmpny A in Jan 2003, the lawyer said there would be no paperwork required, so I continued on my first H-1.

Cmpny C filed an H-1 transfer on Aug 4th, 2003 and I received the receipt. I had brought up the interim H-1 (dt Aug 01) with my lawyer and she had said its not a problem.

However, I've read here that the latest issued I-94 is the one that is valid.

Am I out of status? What are my options? PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

If there is a visa application pending then you need not worry about the expired I94.
But I am not sure about continuing to work for A after working for B for a while...Anyway once C's H1 is approved everything will get reset I guess.

thanks Jaxen. I am now awaiting the approval.

What happens if it is denied? Would I have to leave immediately?
