My brother filed a family based immigration petition for my family in 1986.
Me and my wife are in US and we got our Green cards and also filed for citizenship.
My married daughter and married son are still in India but when my brother filed in 1986 both of them were in unmarried status. I have mine and my wife's SRC# (Receipt#'s) but I lost Receipt#'s of my son and daughter. I want to use the priority date when my brother filed for them after I become a citizen.
Is there anyway to know the receipt#'s??? I don't know the attorney who filed as my brother filed it and he lost the receipt#'s too.
 
When your children got married, your brother's petition automatically gets disqualified for them. You cannot use that priority date again for your children. You will have to file again. It will take somewhere between 6 or 7 years to get their green cards.
