Last month my emplyer put me on hourly basis after my project ended after 3 years. obviously, I have paystub with zero salary.

is there any risk on being hourly employee as far as I 485 is concerned?

Please advise.

as long as you are working, i don't think there is any problem
the point is you got paid, no matter hourly or monthly

As far as I know, there's no risk in being an hourly employee as long as your employer can provide a letter of employment in case of an RFE. However, in case of an RFE wherein paystubs are required you will need to show paystubs that actually have a salary and not zero salary. You might want to consider looking for a new job. If you don't get an RFE you should be fine. In fact your RD being 10/01 you might get your 485 approval sometime soon.

Any other advise...?

Have you tried to talk to your attorney regarding this?? If you haven't (and, if you have hired an attorney to help with your processing), I suggest you talk to him/her. Good luck!
