Hi,
My situation is complicated,

My wife and I immigrated to Canada in october 2010. We are Turkish family. We were born in Turkey.
Our twins were born in Canada, have Canadian Passports, they haven't been registered for Turkish nationality.
My wife and I are still permanent resident in Canada.

So my wife won the green card 2014.
Have any idea about my twins situation, because Canadians are not eligible for the lottery.
What should I do filling the forms for DV.
Can I write they are Turkish and Canadian.
During the interview do I need Turkish passport for them or they can get immigrant visa on their Canadian passport.

Actually, I don't want them to be a Turkish. Is there any way to do that without Turkish registration.

Please help.
Thank you.

I'm assuming the children are under 21 - is that correct? Since your wife is the winner she will have listed the children on her entry and will fill out a 230 form for each of the children (and one for you too). The 122 form is only for her. She is the petitioner for the children and yourself, so you will get Green Cards from her winning entry. The childrens passports/nationality will not be an issue.

Your wife must meet the education or work experience criteria herself.

Now my boys are 10 months old.
Yes we applied lottery after they born.
While we fill out the 230 form what should I do the section of nationality?
Should I write Canadian or Turkish or both.

Thank you britsimon.
You are a great guy.

ON the 230 you need to comeplete it accurately. From what you have said they are Canadian citizens - so you wold write Canadian on the form. Their birth certificates will show the place of birth and hopefully they will have Canadian passports already (if not I would suggest you apply for those). As Jayo2k said, really the main thing they are looking at is the main entrant (your wife) and then you and your children will be sponsored by her, so their nationality is unimportant.

Hi again folks,

We live in Vancouver and for the interview we need to go to Montreal, which is only embassy in Canada giving the immigration visa.
If we have a chance, Our Interview date will probably be on September 2014 due to high case number which is 40XXX.
Should they come with us to Montreal for interview. On September they will be 2 years old and I don't want to bring them with 5 hours flight.

Thanks.

All the people applying for the visa (spouse and children included) will need to be present at the interview. You will also all need a medical prior to the interview - which can only be carried out at one of their panel doctors - see the Canadian list at the link below (thankfully there is one near you!)

The winner has to apply with the birth country, so as a turkish you are eligible. Each of you should have birth certificates from the country of birth, regardless if you are living in another country. You can use each passaport you like it dousn't matter. I was in the same situation, I'm albanian living in greece, my wife and son have both passaports and i applaied with Albanian and they with greek passaport and there was not any problem.
