PLease help :faxed inquiry for CSC 140 OR, got "detailed review" response

140 OR submitted to CSC on Oct.21 , 2003, faxed inquiry 2 months back , got fax reply saying "the above case has been selected for detailed review. this process will take
longer than normal for processing...".

Has anybody have similar experience. I only saw "detailed review" s for 485 cases.
 
Just got that same response today. Any idea how much longer it will take? I got it for 140 as well.
 
I got the same reply for my inquiry. My lawyer tells me it means various background check, and they can check with CSC every 180 days instead of regular 90 days. What does your lawyer say about it?
 
My department manager called CSC a month ago. They told her it was under name check by FBI. They submitted the request to FBI January 2004 and had no idea how long it was going to take. I sent email, fax and mail to FBI immediately. No response yet.

I will go to ask my manager to call CSC again tomorrow. She will ask them to process my 140 first per Yates December 29 Memo, which rescinded the concurrent adjudication rule.

My I-140 has been pending since October 2003. I am tired of waiting and plan to get a new job within a couple of months. Jobs are similar and better paid. Not sure if AC21 portability rule is applicable. If not, i will have to do OR again. Any idea????????
