Please Help!!! EAD Expiring!!!

I did not follow the rule "Renewal EAD: You should apply for a renewal EAD six months before your original EAD expires." in
http://www.ins.gov/graphics/howdoi/ead.htm#ead
and applied for my renewal of EAD last week only since my 485 had been under processing for more than an year. (1st Feb 2001). I may have to change the company as it is not doing well right now. My H1b expires (6 years) in June 2002. What are my options?! I will really appreciate if you could suggest please!!! The RFE for the case was received on April 10th by INS as per AVM. Please Help!!!
 
6 months is not a problem

I renewed my EAD about 15 days before expiration, since it takes only 2 hrs in Denver to renew it. If your RFE is about employment verification, I guess you\'d better stay with current company until RFE answer sent out or have your new boss to reply RFE.
 
Hi Nayblahscar, But I sent the renewal form to NSC instead of Local office.

Thank-you for your info, Nayblahscar. Does it matter that I sent the renewal form with the supported docs. to NSC instead of local office (in your case, it was Denver)??

Can always get an iEAD

Even if you file 91 days before expiry of your current one, my guess is that you can always get an interim EAD once your application has not been approved for 90 days.
