I have a strange situation. Last year when I filed for I-485 we also filed for EAD\'s. Also after getting the receipts we went to local INS and got the EAD for my wife which is expiring on August 3, 2000 (Yes,
that\'s today). We also received EAD from Vermont which is expiring on
August 9. We applied for renewal (based on August 9th card) on
May 10, 2000 to vermont and got approved on July 7th. But we haven\'t
received the cards yet. I am planning to go to the Local INS for a new
one if we don\'t receive by August 9th.
Can someone please tell whether it\'s OK to go or will there be any problem since the one issued by Local INS is expiring on August 3. We never used the card issued by Local INS and used only the card received from Vermont.
