My Visa was cancelled in March,2001 after I lost my job. I applied for a transfer immediately, but it was rejected. I applied again but again it got rejected. So, until July last year 2002, I didnt have any status though it was due to INS.
Then I got a job in July 2002 and I applied for fresh H1. I got a H1 this time. I plan on going to India soon for stamping. Would my H1 stamping be fine or would there be trouble?

Please advise
 
If you got a I94 along with the new H1, then you dont have to worry.
If not, this is the only way you can reaffirm your status...You dont have any other choice ...

This relieves me of lot of tension. I do have the I-94. A side question: Would not having my paystubs pose any issue in H1-B stamping?
